Don't call me sir
Fantastic product. Well designed and manufactured. I feel the "open" style sight (as opposed to the factory peep) allows for much faster time on target, especially at the cqb distance where the Sub 2000 shines. I am using this fold down rear sight in combination with a red dot that I mounted on a flip to side mount. This rear sight folds out of the way so nice when I decide to flip red dot to center. Make sure you loctite the tiny set screw, otherwise recoil will loosen it. Highly, highly recommended.

As much as I would like to give this sight a great review, I can't. First of all, it is so tight that the sight can only be engaged by hand with great deliberation. Second of all the extremely tiny hex screw on the sight itself strips very easily (as do all tiny hex screws. Considering that the hex screw is so small it cannot be tightened sufficiently enough to handle the recoil of the firearm. Every time the carbine is fired the sight folds half way down, making it useless after one shot. I would like to dismiss these flaws as lemons but I think there is sufficient reasoning behind the flaws to say that this product is not as good as the first f=version of the "eagle eye" sight. The first version at least had a spring to ensure it retained an upright posture. hopefully the company will take these things into consideration.
