At a glance:
  • For the repair of any .22 caliber chambers that have been damaged by firing pin impact
  • Eliminates a very common cause of feeding and extraction malfunctions
  • Corrosion resistant, heat treated, for long lasting durability
We have all done it! Dry firing the pistol seems harmless enough, but did you know that dry firing a rimfire pistol can create a small burr which can grow and deepen over time leading to feeding and reliability issues! Now, thanks to the new TANDEMKROSS ChamberMade Ironing Swage, you can repair the breech face damage caused by dry firing.
The new, handy ChamberMade Ironing Swage can be operated with a ¼” hex drive screwdriver from the chamber side or alternatively by attaching to cleaning rod inserted from the muzzle. Purchase your ChamberMade today and bring your breech face back to factory new condition!

Don't forget, all TANDEMKROSS products are Made in the USA and come with a LIFETIME guarantee!

Swage
I inherited my grandfathers Winchester 1906 Built in 1929 I think and it shoots great but would not extract standard or high velocity rounds. I tried a new extractor and vigorous cleaning the chamber. It’s been in the safe for a while. Then I saw this within 10 mins of getting it in the mail my 1906 is extracting everything I put in it!!! ?? soooo happy with this.

“ChamberMade” Swage
If you have a .22 rimfire firearm, I consider this an essential tool for your toolbox. Hopefully, you’ll seldom need it, but it sure beats polishing a punch shank! This one works well and is reasonably priced.

worked surprisingly well
The chamber was really buggered up, but I knew that when I bought it. I used a cleaning rod in a drill to hold the rod with the swage on the end. I greased up the swage and slowly worked it back and forth going deeper with each cycle. Now a roumd drops in and falls back out easily. There is still a dent in the edge.of the chamber, sp I still need to test fire the Ruger Mark II, but I am hopefull.

Worked for a different use.
Apparently ALL of my .22's have firing pin stops to prevent this from happening, as none have the firing pin issue, however, due to using necessary, but harder aftermarket extractors, a similar issue results with the harder extractor kind of leaving a burr in the chamber opening where it meets the extractor groove. I actually had to "make do" a temporary tool once to correct this issue on an old MKII with tens of thousands of rounds through it, so when I saw this, I knew I WANTED IT, and it is EXACTLY what I needed to fix my issue caused by hardened extractors. A little pricy, yet much cheaper than a professional's wages. It is quality, and has three different ways it can be "driven". In my case a 1/4" socket just won't fit in a MKII receiver, due to the ejector placement, so I used a cleaning rod from the front to apply pressure, while turning it with a 1/4" BOX WRENCH. Yes, Craftsman use to make a 1/4" BOX WRENCH. :-)
