Included T-10 torx head screw is only intended for use with the following models produced before 2019:

  • Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ LITE
  • Ruger® Mark III™ 22/45™ LITE
IMPORTANT: Included T-10 torx head screw size and pitch is intended for use in the front sight for supported models produced before 2019. This sight is designed for Ruger® Mark III™ 22/45™ LITE and Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ LITE. Models produced after 2019 will need to reuse their factory front sight screw. Use this tool provided by Ruger or contact a gunsmith if you are unsure about the year of your pistol or thread pitch of your front sight.

    Big Improvement

    Ruger should have this standard considering mine came with blacked out front and rear sights. My only gripe is that the handgun doesn’t come with an additional spot to prevent movement outside of one screw. Completely not on Tandemkross though. Buy without worry.

    Waste of $20 if you want a red sight

    Yes it appears to be a better sight than the factory sight. It seems great that it comes with a second red tube, especially since I wanted a red dot. However, the tubes do not appear to be interchangeable, and after much trying the only way to get the green tube that comes preinstalled out was to break it. Then you have to burn one end of the red tube with a lighter, slide it through the sight and burn the other end of the tube with a lighter to lock it in place. Simply not worth the money or hassle (or poor appearance of the dot after burning both ends) when you can spend $10 more on another brand an get 6 interchangeable light tubes.

    FRONT SIGHT

    Simple install for me on MK IV Target model using original mounting screw. I appreciate the inclusion of wrenches.No issues with alignment. Green fiber optic on the sight that I received does not seem bright enough (looks faded) for my aging eyes but an easy fix. I recommend this upgrade.

    Could not have been easier. Instructions clear and took about two minutes to change. Product appears of good quality and made a huge difference in visualization of the front sight. Just get it!!

    Easy fit

    simple, easy quick install to mk iv lite. Comes with 2 allen keys for removal of oem screw and install of TKs screw. Factory screw was EXTREMELY tight, twisted the allen key supplied by TK lol
